Rhea Chakraborty's Mortuary Visit Under The Scanner, Maharashtra Human Rights Commission Sends Show-Cause Notice To Cooper Hospital
On June 14, after Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly ended his life at his Bandra abode, he was taken to Mumbai’s Cooper hospital for the post-mortem procedures. On June 15, Rhea Chakraborty was snapped entering the hospital premises to meet the late actor one last time. Ever since SSR’s father KK Singh has filed an FIR against Rhea and 5 others of abetting his suicide, Rhea’s presence at the hospital has raised many eyebrows. Rhea Chakraborty was reportedly allowed to meet her late boyfriend at the mortuary when his autopsy was being conducted.

Now Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission (MSHRC) has sent a show-cause notice to the Cooper hospital and Mumbai Police for providing access to Rhea Chakraborty into the mortuary. As per a latest report in Republic World, the notice has also been sent by the statutory autonomous body to Mumbai Police seeking details of the regulation under which she was allowed to enter the Mortuary. Earlier speaking about the same, lawyer Vikas Singh had targeted Rhea and said her visit to the mortuary is "very suspicious" as she had "no relationship’.

He told Republic, “Rhea going to the mortuary is very suspicious as she had no relationship with Sushant Singh on the day of his death. In what capacity she was allowed to see the body of Sushant. I believe she was taken from the backroom. Without showing grief, without sobbing, without breaking down, clearly exposes her mind that she was probably wanting to accept the blame of his death and she has no regret of it. She had no affection for Sushant.”

Meanwhile, in a recent sting operation, the Cooper Hospital’s security guard revealed CBI wasn’t allowed as they didn’t have an ‘appointment’. Now the CBI will once again visit hospital with an appointment.
